Since childhood elegant design, creative style and fine detail have been passions for Marjorie. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, she spent her early years traveling extensively, working for leaders on two continents in the design industry. Over the years she finely honed her own skills and vision as a designer and craftswoman; from crafting custom clocks and fine jewelry pieces alongside Dr. Eduard Gübelin C.G., F.G.A., world renowned gemologist in Switzerland, to designing a priceless ruby and diamond necklace for William Truman Ltd., London, England, to learning the fine art of visual display from Gene Moore the genius behind Tiffany’s windows in New York City. Along the way she has been twice awarded with the Diamonds International Award hosted by De Beers Consolidated Mines, for her outstanding custom jewelry designs. Her design of the cloisonne “World Time Clock” now resides in the Gubelin private museum in Lucerne, Switzerland.

Throughout her storied career, Marjorie has worn many hats – though all connected to her passion for masterful design. In the 70’s she developed her own line of fine gold and diamond jewelry. Pieces of classic interpretations with an emphasis on iconic forms that are still timeless and wearable today. In the 80’s she created traffic-stopping windows at Tiffany & Co. Copley Place in Boston. People came from all over New England, regularly crowding to see her monthly window changes. The 90’s led her to South Florida to pursue another love – tropical residential design, hot climate interior decorating and pool/landscape design.

Today, after many years refurbishing fine homes in Seattle, Boston, South Florida and California, she focuses her eye for detail on creating exquisite, crystal and seashell encrusted decorative furnishings for interiors. With her multi-disciplined skills and technical precision, it assures and represents the highest quality of craftsmanship in her work. These one of a kind, upscale jewels for the home are available at exclusive retailers in Southern California, San Francisco and by custom order through interior designers across the country.
